Ronald W. Glensor Reno Police Department, USA

Ronald W. Glensor is uniquely qualified in the domain of police leadership. A retired Assistant Chief of the Reno Police Department (RPD; Nevada) after more than 35 years of experience, he commanded the patrol, administration, and detective divisions. He is internationally renowned for his work in community policing and problem-solving, providing training and technical support to agencies across the U.S., Canada, Australia, Great Britain Ukraine, and Armenia. He has conducted numerous management and leadership studies of police agencies throughout the U.S. and has extensive teaching experience at major universities. He was granted a Research Fellowship at the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) in Washington, D.C., received an Atlantic Fellowship to examine repeat victimization with the Home Office in London, England, and was awarded the prestigious Gary P. Hayes Leadership Award by PERF. He has co-authored several leadership and community policing textbooks and holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Reno.
