International Journal of Tryptophan Research is an open access, peer reviewed international journal that focuses on all subjects related to tryptophan research, including isolation, functionality, interactions, analysis, synthesis and industrial production, as well as supplementation and role in diet, physiology, neurological disorders and immune response. Also of interest to the journal are related precursors and metabolites such as serotonin, melatonin, niacin, tryptamine, kynurenine, and indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase. From 1st September 2024 International Journal of Tryptophan Research will convert to a Hybrid publication model. Peer review processes remain unchanged and authors can choose to publish Open Access via Sage Choice or through an agreement with their institution, if available. Articles submitted from the 1st September will be published, if accepted, under a Sage exclusive license.
