Medicines management and pharmacology
fantastic book, good use of case studies and questions which can be used for students.
Useful foundation for student nurses focussing on medicines management in children. The activities and case studies throughout the book give students a focus and helps them to link the theory to practice. The book is written in such a way that all students should find it easy to read and understand.
Easy to read. Linked with NMC domains. Activities to test student undertstanding. Comprehensive coverage of topic in concise format.
Text broken down into sections. Answers given for activities.
Very good book and interesting
This book is well laid out. There are case studies that allow the reader to apply the content discuss to situations that are likely to occur. The section on legality, in particular the controlled drug section, describes the legality of administering drugs in an explicit and easy to understand method.
Excellent resource
Have also recommended this for pre-reg student s as well as post regrad
Very good text-used to support theory and practice sessions
An easy to follow and clearly illustrated text for students to dip in to and gain valuable knowledege of an essential topic. Think the use of this book will increase as greater emphasis is placed on medicines management and associated skills within pre-registration nursing courses.
A must for all Paediatric Nurses. Informative, clear and highly useful. Great to use in conjuction with development activities.
Useful text in addition to some core texts.
