This book would be recommended to students taking undergraduate and postgraduate research design and dissertation modules. Students undertaking health research PhDs would also find the content helpful introduction to their field of research. The book was not adopted for the course indicated, since this is not core content of the course. The reason for non-adopting the text is not the quality of the book, which would be recommended for students wishing to learn about qualitative methods in health research.
