Alexandra Lang The University of Nottingham, UK

Alexandra R. Lang is a Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham. She completed her PhD in Human Factors ‘Medical Device Design for Adolescents’ in 2012 and has since been working within a multidisciplinary team utilising her human factors experience in the design and development of patient information, usability evaluations of mobile healthcare technologies and software applications and the continuation of her research with young users of medical devices. Alexandra's work with patients and clinicians with cystic fibrosis (CF) has contributed qualitative background to the CF study examined in this case. Her research interests include the design of novel and inclusive research methods and the implementation of human factors for achieving sustainable patient benefit.
