Catherine W. Clarke Agriculture Victoria Research, Australia

Catherine Clarke is a research scientist with Agriculture Victoria Research (AVR), Australia, since 2014. Prior to joining AVR, Catherine undertook two postdoctoral fellowships at Charles Sturt University, Orange, where she conducted research on various themes of pest management, in Australia and Papua New Guinea. Catherine completed her PhD in Agricultural Entomology at Kenyatta University and The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology, Nairobi, Kenya, in 2007 under the African Regional Postgraduate Programme in Insect Sciences.
Catherine has experience in insect biological control, insect behaviour, biosecurity and insect pests/ parasitoids/plant interactions. She has broad interests on the biology and ecology of parasitoids and how these can be utilised in integrated pest management approaches. Catherine has published two book chapters and several scientific articles in peer review journals
