Barbara St. Pierre Schneider received her bachelor of science in nursing from Louisiana State University Medical Center, master of science from the University of Washington School of Nursing, and PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Nursing. She completed postdoctoral studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, and Pennsylvania State University.

Jessica St. Romain is a program manager in the Interventional Resources Unit at Pennington Biomedical Research Center (PBRC). She manages the Community-Based Research Program and has more than 11 years of experience in clinical research, with the majority of that experience facilitating recruitment and retention efforts as well as community engagement.
