This is a good practical text that supports the reader through the analysis of quantitate data using SPSS. Great introductory text for students starting out in analysing quantitate data.
This book is an absolute must for all undergraduate students getting to grips with the nuanced process of data analysis in social research.
Seems like a good textbook but doesn't include all methods covered in the intended course; i.e. mixed ANOVA, multiple regression, basic factor analysis.
Its a good book useful for all social research.
Recommended for PhD students and colleagues unsure about undertaking statistical research using SPSS. Helpfully 'walks you through' the process of statistical analysis. A very helpful book.
Very helpful information particularly for those new to research.
An excellent text for students that are a little rusty on SPSS. This is a very good guide which I will recommend as essential reading.
This subject area is one that is difficult to grasp if you are new to reserach. The book would be beneficial if you are undertaking quantitative research and will be using statistical anlysis as it will support your underpinning knowledge of the subject. It is a book that you will continuously refer back to.
I find the book very helpful and it enables my students to have a better understanding of Interpreting Quantitative Data with IBM SPSS Statistics. Many of my students use SPSS for their thesis, and there for this is a very useful handbook.
I think that the SPSS lab sessions following each chapter which demonstrate how SPSS can be used in practice, is the most important part for students.
Thank-you for giving me the opportunity to review this most helpful book.
