This text does an excellent job of conveying important concepts, cutting-edge research, and tying both to real-world applications. It is written clearly and at the perfect level for graduate students with a variety of backgrounds.
Used in previous offering of the course. Will likely change textbook next year to one with more interactive/online learning resources for students.
