This will be an essential text book for the Operations Management module on the MSc International Business module. It is a great 'one-stop' resource for all aspects of Operations for students who have never studied this topic before
The book is sound in content, but at too elementary a level for adoption in most porgrammes where I teach. I use my own text "Bamford and Forrester, Wiley" for the modules where I teach. It has a similar concept (concise, not overly padded, etc.) but has greater coverage and is more suited to my teaching.
Good supporting text for those students studdying opertaional management
For my masters course in Operations Management, I need a standard text book. "Key Concepts in Operations Management " is good for quick reference.
