An excellent book used on the degree programme in both the long term conditions module and acute care module
This book is east to read, including activities and case examples for students to explore. It gives an oversight of current legislation and policy, and suggestions for further reading. A great book for those looking to develop their person centred care.

The relationship and partnership between nursing, patients and carers is essential. By aligning theory with practical examples, activities and case studies/scenarios, the book successfully details the importance of these partnerships in delivering individualised person centred care.
This book is aimed at nurses in the UK, and is written with British practice in mind. This makes it less interesting for students in other countries.
This book is a helpful resource for all nurses who wish to examine the issues and challenges that emerge from working in partnerships, whilst at the same time offering some practical advice on how this can be achieved.
The text did not address ppi in te way required for the educational program. It's a great text, but it did not meet my needs
Excellent background reading- useful for additional reading for students who need further rationale
This is an excellent text. The focus of each chapter is clear, and the concepts related to a partnership approach are well explained. The activities within the chapters are linked nicely with relevant case studies.
