Well structured book that clearly follows and compliments the AET course - provides our learners with a welcomed additional resource.
This book has a good logical structure, it contains some useful information, but will not be very useful to our students in terms of guidance towards assessment.

This book provides a sound and clear practical guide to the development of teaching and learning. The references to theory are particularly welcome, and support the practice advocated in the text.

Ann has done a good job with this book. It makes life easier for those who want to go into teaching as everything is systematically laid out and learners have a good knowledge of teaching, learning and assessment cycle. All the units are in depth and comprehensive. I really like the text
Love the simplicity of this book, a great update, have previously used this book as supporting text for the PTTLS and now the Award in education. User friendly, good clearly presented text, tables and diagrams. covers everything you need to know as a first step into teaching.
Essential reading for taking and delivering AET.
A good book that supports the course, possibly needs a rethink in terms challenging the learner as much of the material already exists in other resources - so nothing new really
This book is being used by teachers and students on the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. It gives them some useful information and suggested reading for the course. Well written and user friendly, we have stocked this in the LRC and students are buying their own copies.
