I have added this to the recommended reading list for an optional level 3 module which specifically focuses on the needs of older people. This module has an expected uptake of between 30-35 students each year.

I am recommending this to my first year MA Social Work students doing an 'Introduction to Social Work' module as an accessible introduction to working with older people. Most useful chapters ( in relation to the module ) are those on values and ethics and partnership and participation.
