This is an extremely useful book. It provides both students and mentors with not only ideas about how to address each standard but also the different sources of evidence that could be used to support each criteria.

This text is very useful for anyone beginning an ITT education degree or for trainee teachers wanting to improve their knowledge and understanding of how the teaching standards apply to current classroom practice. The text provides guidance on what constitutes each standard, underpinned by theory and supported with a plethora of practical examples of how to effectively evidence them. The authors describe how trainee teachers can develop reflective practice, and particularly show how part 2 of the standards can be evidenced to aid knowledge and understanding. I would recommend this text for all student teachers on an ITT course.
