Provides an excellent overview of contemporary challenges in the field of mental health
Another new mental health timely text supported by well-written chapters, full of excellent case studies, linked practice issues, helpful summaries, reflective activities, further reading and website links. Great teaching and learning resource for MH practitioners, social work/nursing students and educators. I particularly liked the inclusion of psychiatric diagnosis chapter, SU involvement and recovery model chapters. Will certainly be recommending this text to my undergraduate 2nd year BASW students on the Mental Health & SW module.
